Kinning Park is a family run care home that strives to provide care based on an individual's needs. It is firmly set in the community of Kinning Park in the south side of Glasgow. We are registered to care for up to 30 residents in single en suite rooms.

Our aim is to give you the highest standard of care and to do everything we can to make your stay with us as pleasant and as comfortable as possible. We believe we can help you make a smooth transition from your own home to Kinning Park Care home.

Types of care available:

  • Respite Care

    This provides a break for both carers and the people they care for. If you live alone and need temporary help then respite care could be suitable for you.

  • Nursing Care

    Offers 24 hour personal support, with care from qualified registered nurses and the team of care staff. It is ideal when you have an illness or disability that needs nursing attention.

My dad was not a resident at Kinning Park Care Home for very long but in the time he was there the care he received was excellent. It is a family atmosphere with the team of carers and nurses very friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much to ask and the staff had all been there for some time showing it must be a good place to work. My dad is a difficult individual and they had different strategies they put in place very quickly to adapt to his needs. Dementia is a difficult disease for everyone involved. To watch loved ones change so much in their personality, but the nurses and carers at Kinning Park care, compassion and support to my dad and the whole family was greatly appreciated.
There were always activities going on and my dad could join in if he wanted. My dad also enjoyed the food, especially the cups of tea and biscuits that were plentiful.
